If Calle doesn't wish me to persist in my puerile posting pattern, he can kick me off the list, and I promise not to try and come weaseling back in with a new address.
For the record, I am not going to kick _anybody_ off the list as long as they stay basically on-topic and there are no serious technical problems with their address (it has happened that an address started sending all messages back to the list, creating a nasty loop; that address got removed until the problem was resolved). On-topic is anything reasonably related to the TV series "Blake's 7" or its fandom.
I may ask people to move a thread to Freedom City, if it's about slash, which I know is a subject that upsets some people. This has happened.
I may ask people to take discussions that has veered far off topic to the Spin List. This happens fairly frequently.
If someone persists in posting wildly off-topic things after being repeatedly asked no to do that, I might remove them from the list. This has happened once, many years ago (some of you may remember the very persistent loon who thought that killfiles were censorship).
But I absolutely will not remove anyone from the list because other people on the list don't like them. If someone should manage to be both on-topic and so consistently abrasive that _I_ can't stand them, I will resign as admin and leave the list myself rather than kick them off. This too has happened, on another list I started.
So, all of you who seem to be worrying about being kicked off can calm down. As long as you're talking about B7 or B7 fandom, it just won't happen. If you ever should approach the possibility of being kicked off, you will get plenty of warnings of steadily decreasing subtlety before it happens. So don't worry about it.
