Blake and Tyce :-)
Now that is a cave story I'd like to read!
What *I'd* like to see is a touch of naturalistic realism in the 'cave' stories: I recall very few nasty, dark, damp, musty and evil-smelling caves already inhabited by EEEK-y local bugs and remarkable disgusting other fauna.
This is true; cave is usually a very neutral setting, all the focus is on the characters. It would be interesting, however, if someone with RL experience in cave climbing and cave exploring set out to write a story.
<grin> a non A-B Top ten? From moi? Do I even have one?
Short answer, I thought about it, and no. My favourites are all either in that Little List, or would have been had they appeared in time :-).
No, I didn't ask you (or anyone else) to *exclude* A-B stories. I was just looking for a comprehensive list which would *include* all the other categories as well. For instance, I think 'Dupe' and 'Game of Humanity' are very good stories by any criteria - and they're both on your list.
