Nonetheless, you can't really deny that Sir Ian McKellan playing Richard III is _Sir Ian McKellan_ playing Richard III, and isn't Sir John Gielgud playing Richard III or Basil Brush playing Richard III (or Paul Darrow in 'Timelash' :-) ), and if you draw a picture of any one of these it is the actor's likeness you are reproducing, cause the character doesn't have a likeness independent of the actor (well, Richard III may have been a historical figure, but IIRC he didn't look like how Willie Shakespeare described him).
In the case of the B7 characters, to draw an image of the character is _by definition_ to draw a picture of the actor who portrayed them, regardless of whether that character resembles the actor in his offstage state or not.
