One of the series she mentioned where this would be true was Stargate. I personally find this hard to believe. I don't see why there would be differing amounts of information on a specific TV series depending what region the DVD is made for.
There have been plenty of US DVDs which had things that were missing from the European editions, which is one reason why so many Europeans have chipped players...
