Particularly not if the channel showing the programme concerned keeps changing the timeslots. My mother has just had a lot of fun over the Christmas period trying to tape Farscape for my brother while he was shiftworking. (In New Zealand. He's going to be doing a lot of sitting in front of a television when he comes home.) Channel 9 was showing it twice a day. Then the test matches started...
