Could this be the way to salvage Power as well?
The Hommiks, as described by Avon, I suppose: "Their heads are green and their hands are blue, and they travel in sieves." (Well, I don't remember seeing much water around Xenon until Headhunter, so going to sea would be a bit more difficult.)
It also brings up the question of the lady from Cygnus, though if you are determined to stick to Lear, a clean version becomes necessary.
