Ah, she beat me to it. Though I was thinking that Dorian had bought multiple suits, because he was thinking in the long term -- or maybe when he liked something, he *really* liked something. Or he was a fanatical bargain hunter.
Or maybe the place they shopped is like my friend's formerly favorite lingerie store in the U.S. It's her former favorite because she'd find a bra she liked and then they'd discontinue making it. She'd find another, and they'd discontinue that. It got so she'd buy 10-15 bras when she found one she liked. If they did the same, they'd have plenty of the same outfit. (And it's easier to get dressed in a hurry if there's little worry about things not matching.)
