Re whiskey/whisky: thank you, Harriet and Iain. However, is there Scotland in the Second Calendar (there is certainly Jarriere)--if no Scotland, no Scotch. And if no Ireland, then no whiskey/whisky distinction.

Re watershed: I believe it was Fred Allen who said television was called a medium because it was rare for it to be well-done.

Re bad language: (perhaps I am merely extrapolating from myself) my fictional assumption is that Blake and especially Avon use four-letter words when they are angry, i.e., chronically. *However, I think Avon would have to be even angrier to blaspheme than to use a mere epithet.
