If the DVD versions of B7 are ever released, it would be well worth the effort of creating my own compilations.
What, you don't have DVD versions of B7? {blink, blink}And you call yourself a fan!
Well, admittedly our DVDs aren't special or anything, they're just the videos copied onto DVDs, but it is comforting to know that the degradation process is slowed down dramatically (haven't Our Heroes suffered enough?) And it does make making a songvid a lot easier. I hope.
If you were making your own songvid, what music and clips would you
include?
My first impulse has been to do Tommy Shaw's "Girls With Guns" (has someone already done that? It seems like a natural), and David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" (also seems a no-brainer). I'd tend to put shots of Avon or Tarrant grinning over the line, "Hot tramp! I love you so." :) I'm also tempted by Living Colour's "Glamour Boys" for a montage of Tarrant. I'm not even a big Tarrant fan, but he does seem very, well, video-genic.
These are the first music videos I've ever seen, and I did love them, esp. "Brothers in Arms." Does anyone know where I can get my hands on more, or on some tips for making a good music video?
