I admit it.
Doctor Who is better than Blakes 7. (The difference is barely measurable. But it is greater? By a marginal degree...yes)
1. Terminal. Opening shot: Avon looking knackered, hands over his eyes.
2. Star One. Avon's reaction or non-reaction) to Blake admitting his trust.
3. Terminal. Again. Avon's expression when Servalan tells him about Blake's absence. His face goes from confusion to shock before proceeding to homicidal rage.
4. Breakdown. When the crew are fighting with Gan at the beginning, Blake calls for the medical kit. It then looks like they use the medical kit to whack Gan on the head. (I know that Cally's got the kit, but that's what it looks like)
5. Another Avon moment. In 'Harvest of Kairos' I love the way the crew stop what they're doing when Avon causes an explosion. And then all he says is "Sorry."
6. Gan's costume in 'Redemption'
7. Avon's dismay at discovering that the Federation have duplicated his gadget.
8. The "It's an old wall, Avon. It waits. I hope you don't die before you reach it."
9. "Who?" (Stardrive)
10. Avon and Tarrant's reactions to Vila's pink asteroids line. (Rescue)
11. Servalan's story in "Sand." That was the one time I believe she told the absolute truth.
12. "Sand" again. I love the way that Tarrant and Servalan jump at the sound fo the food machine.
13. The idea of Travis and Blake throwing nuts at each other in "Duel"
14. Avon finding Cally's moon disc and reacting like he's just trodden in moon disc poo.
15. "I shall come out in a rash!" Bounty?
16. Orac laughing as he tells the others that their lovely purple money is worthless.
17. "She is my mother!"
18. "His name is Blake. His name WAS Blake"
19. Avon being told exactly what is going to happen (and not realising) to him in "The Logic of Empire"
20. "Never ask a man with a spade where he's been." "Oh." - Kelso and Elise from "Logic of Empire"
I've actually tried to avoid the obvious moments. "Blake", Zen's death, Orac the speak-your-weight machine - I wonder if he could have worked out Vila's personality problems to ten decimal places as well.
