Would opening an account with an American internet bank work? Maybe one of them has a office in Britain, or at least a Brit mail address for deposit purposes.
It's a thought, but I suspect there'd be difficulty with identification. What do Internet banks normally require if you aren't an existing customer?
An Internet bank would probably be a lot cheaper.
Does anyone know of a US internet bank with a UK cheque deposit facility?
