<grin> 'Terminal' was *personal* (well, some of us think 'Blake' was too, for all his rationalisations :-)
But the rationalisations do make sense - by the end of S2, Blake has achieved legendary status (witness the number of rumours about him afterwards). I do think in Servalan's ruined empire, and the increasingly coarse and ugly galaxy of S4, a born-again legend that 'gives them hope' would be a powerful image for any resistance (and actually, if they *were* all dooooooomed, that just makes it moreso, the human fascination for failed, lost and hopeless causes being what it is :-).
