Well, it doesn't help that one of the writers seems to feel that the only way to generate high drama in a series is to kill off one of the major characters. This has gone on across the board, in all the series I've seen the author work in, from FOREVER KNIGHT to HIGHLANDER to QUEEN OF SWORDS to HIGHLANDER: ENDGAME. We need a touch of change, here. (Yes, this is the one who wanted Methos to die at the end of his first appearance on HL, and the head writer put a stop to it, seeing the potential to the character). What the HL producers want to do next is....create a new HIGHLANDER series in the franchise, with a very young new immortal who's sort of like Richie Ryan.
GAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!
Anything for that coveted teen-age demographic. Don't listen to us. We're just the fans.
