Sorry, neither the Brits nor the Germans nor anyone in recent memory invented fascist regimes. In fact, fascist regimes are all the rage in many SF books, many, many of them written by American authors long before B7 ever appeared on the scene. Said Annie... Have you tried the chocolate orange Cadbury's eggs? yum, yum. Anyway back to B7 - Calle said something about the chocolate being cheap and filled with suppresant drugs. If you look at Gold and the passengers who are doped, I dont think they'd have cared if they ate cardboard.
