I'm not sure if this was discussed previously, but would there be any possibility of bundling pcre with pike 7.8, or at least compiling with it on windows?

Isn't it only a matter of making sure it exists on the build machines? I thought they already did. (Even the 7.4 builds we do at Roxen contains it.)
Ok, great! It's most important to me that it's available on windows, as users there can't easily compile it in if it's missing. I'm not a big regex person, but there are times when it's useful, and the standard regex engine can be a bit anemic.
