Hi,
I've noticed in my Debian packaging exploits of lsh that IPv6 support is
built only if the build-time kernel has IPv6 available. Really it
should be OK to build with IPv6 support assuming all the appropriate
headers and libraries are available at build time, since the IPv6 code
simply fails and fall back to the IPv4 code, doesn't it? The reason I
ask this is that I would like to "force enable" building of IPv6
support in the Debian packages, since they end up running on boxes that
they are not built on, and my guess is that not all the Debian build
machines have IPv6 support (I'm not entirely sure on this, however).
If this isn't suitable as the default, maybe an option flag such as
- --enable-force-ipv6 or similar ... ?
Cheers,
Timshel

I've now set up a new mailman list at Lysator. The list address is
lsh-bugs(a)lists.lysator.liu.se, subscription requests should go to
lsh-bugs-request(a)lists.lysator.liu.se, and the web-interface is at
http://lists.lysator.liu.se/mailman/listinfo/lsh-bugs.
It's a fairly standard mailman list, I've made sure to disable the
features that annoy me: reply-to munging, munged subject lines, and
password reminders (I hope there's a button somewhere on the webpage
where you can get a password mailed to you if you need one).
Suggestions on how to configure the list should be sent to me, not to
the list.
I sent a first mail to the new list a few minutes ago, if you received
that, it means that you're already subscribed. Otherwise, you need to
subscribe to the new list, by sending mail to the -request address or
using the web interface.
Martin: The alias bug-lsh(a)gnu.org points to the old address, can you
change it to point to the new address? I'm suspect my GNU account have
been disabled, and given the amount of time I've spent on the GNU
machines I'd prefer not to have it reenabled for the time being. Also,
if there have been any subscriptins since we last synced, you can mail
the subscriber list to me.
I have a copy of the psst list archive, but I haven't yet figured out
how I can upload it into mailman's archive. Any hints appreciated.

I've not done any webpages yet. Unless somebody else volunteers to
maintain an lsh homepage, I'll put one on
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~nisse/lsh.
I hope this move is going smooth, let me know if there are any
problems.
Best regards,
/Niels
I have now set up a new lsh mailinglist. The list address is
lsh-bugs(a)lists.lysator.liu.se, subscription requests should go to
lsh-bugs-request(a)lists.lysator.liu.se, and the web-interface is at
http://lists.lysator.liu.se/mailman/listinfo/lsh-bugs.
*This mail is being sent to the new address*,
which means that if you see this, you're already subscribed, and you
don't need to do anything in particular. I'll shortly send another
mail to the old address announcing the move in more detail.
Regards,
/Niels Möller
