As far as I know, there is no roadmap for Pike. It has been discussed many times on this list but we never seem to produce a real document about it.

I do believe that this is the correct forum for such a discussion. If you feel that you want to bring the discussion up again, feel free. I'm all in favor of a real roadmap so that we have some goals for Pike 8.0 at least. I can even try to document what comes up on the list from now on in a document which I can publish from time to time.
