Hello :)
I am trying to make some pike deb for fink for pike 7.4.10.... But it seems that it is crashing when compiling :
Here is come crash logs :
Any hints for that ?
(I will try to make a test tomorrow evening with 7.4.13, to see if the current CVS fixes that :P)
/Xavier

Or because i have a G3 and both of you may have a G4?
Simply building and running a Pike isn't normally sufficient to hit the bug, but I've got other means to trigger it (involving the Roxen CMS self-test suite).
It's not a compiler issue, nor is it specific to either of G3 or G4 processors (I can reproduce it on both). You will have to wait for Apple to fix Libc, I'm afraid.

did you use my fink port in 7.4 CVS ?
Maybe because i don't still have the brand new developper tools from Apple:
I have one from jaguar CD... I may have to update that as well... I will see if I get that on a slower machine. Blackmagic is a 667MHz G4 Titanium... I will see if my G4 Cube @450Mhz doesn't have such problems...
Or because i have a G3 and both of you may have a G4?
Maybe... Who knows... ;/

No, didn't knew you made one.
Do you want my .deb to test it?

Give me your .info file and I will have a test... Maybe this is some of my options passed to pike's configure that give me such problems... ?

Did you consider to do a port for darwinport too?

See attach.

Yup, that's why i asked you in which program this problem appeared.
