Pike Camp 2004 Essen, Germany October 13 - 19, 2004
Pike - Caudium - Roxen - sTeam - LPC - psyc/muve
It's only one more month until the Pike Camp starts, and the registration is now open.
The Pike Camp will include events such as the already traditional Pike Conference and the Caudium Conference. We also received interest from the psyc/muve project to work with us at the camp.
Satisfaction Guaranteed! You will not be bored!
In addition to talks, workshops and tutorials at the Pike and Caudium conferences, there will also be plenty of opportunity for other activities, such as local sightseeing and cultural events.
The Unperfekthaus, which is the site of this year's camp, is full of all sorts of artists. You'll find painters, musicians, moviemakers, photographers, a coffie roaster, laugh-yoga, a masseur, swordsmen, modeltrain builders, sculpters, writers and wupp, the new spirit, all in residence at the Unperfekthaus. Additionally, the whole house is networked. If you bring your laptop and a patch cable you will be able to plug in almost anywhere in the house. Wireless LAN is also reachable in most places, and we'll have a quiet work area for those that need to spend time working.
The Unperfecthaus is located in Essen which is in the center of a large industrial area of Germany. There are plenty of sites of industrial culture and we have offers from locals to show us around.
The house offers a few beds and plenty of floor space for your mat and a sleeping bag. It includes a large kitchen for our use. We will enjoy breakfast together and have the option to cook our own dinner. Bring your favourite recipie and be the chef of a group of volunteers for one evening.
If you have financial troubles, talk to us and let us see if we can work something out. If you're not able to join us for the entire camp, you're welcome to stay as long as you can. We'd rather have you for a few days rather than not at all.
