Hi,
I'd like to use the fakeroot() mechanism implemented in the pike master for the sTeam Server. Is there a way from outside the master.pike to make use of this feature?
Basically I don't want to change the master, but use the feature. If it is necessary to replace the master, thats fine as long as I may inherit the pike master.
help appreciated. --- Ludger
I've never used the fakeroot() stuff, but it ought to suffice to start your pike binary with -DPIKE_FAKEROOT=/my/fake/root/ and probably with -DPIKE_FAKEROOT_OMIT=/path/to/installed/pike/lib/.
