And you need some information about the list on the list-homepage. Some info like this:
On this list, there is a member '10353@lyskom.lysator.liu.se'. ' 10353@lyskom.lysator.liu.se' is a conference in Lyskom and many developers read and write emails to this list from that address. Find their email-adresses on http://pike.ida.liu.se/ if you want to mail them privately.
Expect comments to discussions you haven't seen, drop into this mailinglist. It should be understandable anyway. Also remember that the style in Lyskom is somewhat different from what you have seen on mailing-lists.
