Sure, but this is supposed to be a master thesis work. Just adding wrappers to existing datatypes seem more like a weekend's work, or less. So I wondered if there was something more to it than it seemed from the description Peta just gave.

Isn't the point to build a base standard, to later extend it with other abstract datatypes?

The goal is to add new ADTs to Pike, but since the new ADTs should be apart of a library with generic algorithms and function obejcts, i belive it has to be a common interface to the ADTs. The main goal is still to implement new ADTs, a few of them just wrappers around the existing ones, and at least two new, binary tree and a new queue. Apart from this there will also be a design of how the algorithms should be built and, if there is time, implemention of one, probably a divide & conquer.
