The logo looks very distorted. Big bitmaps are available at http://pike.ida.liu.se/download/logotype/ We should put the eps-versions there as well, but I can't find them myself right now.
I think that serif fonts should be avioded altogether, especially in the heading and in the URL. Use fonts like the ones in last years Pike conference logo http://pike.ida.liu.se/conferences/2002/
Use real bullets instead of asterisks for the bullet list. The bullet should be in front of the text, not slightly above it.

Font used there seems to be AvantGarde BkBT (shipped with Coreldraw).

i have a copy here: http://www.archlab.tuwien.ac.at/~mbaehr/pike/pike_branding.eps
i assumed that the pike logo was imported as vectors, but i can't check because i don't have corel.
