Hi,
Wouldn't it be more convenient if the gtk2 widgets which receive string text have an automated sprintf inside?
e.g. GTK2.Label()->set_text() now only takes a string.
Best regards,
Marc
Well, that would only work if there are not already other formal parameters after the text. Is that always the case with all methods taking string parameters?

Just about all of them do just take one parameter:
gnomedruidpageedge.pre:void set_text(string text); gnomehref.pre:void set_text(string text); gtkclipboard.pre:void set_text(string text, int len); gtkentry.pre:void set_text(string text); gtklabel.pre:void set_text(string text); gtklabel.pre:void set_text_with_mnemonic(string text); gtkprogressbar.pre:void set_text(string text); gtkrcstyle.pre:void set_text(array(GDK2.Color) colors) gtktextbuffer.pre:void set_text(string text, int len); pangolayout.pre:void set_text(string text)
The only one that isn't is gtkrcstyle, but that is something complete different.
