A few weeks ago there was talk about updated DST tables for the Calendar module, made necessary due to the upcoming changes in Daylight Savings Time here in the US. Are those available somewhere? What's needed to make the update available for those of us impacted, or is there even an impact?

in relation to that, why would anything be needed at all? shouldn't this stuff be picked off the system if available?
greetings, martin.
I think there need to be tables to calculate whether november 27,2007 is a day in DST or standard time.... I don't think the operating system will tell you that. You are correct that you can probably get the current timezone from the OS.
