Well, I don't think it qualifies as a miracle just yet, but the port changed from 8080 to 80, so gitweb is accessible as plain:
http://pike-git.lysator.liu.se/
as of now. It seems to be possible to get git blame output in there somewhere, still fiddling with the knobs to get that done.
