Not if I understand things correctly. Click on the build script on the Pike page. He is using --with-double-precision though. But if I remember correctly that was a requirement for one of the tests to work.

Looks like a nice setup really. There is a wiki for discussing each of the tests, and a mailing-list. There seems to be some interest from at least a few other smaller languages to improve their tests which is good. Particularly the poor Erlang guys. :)

--with-machine-code?
Quickly looking at debian/rules, it seems it's turned on for i386, sparc and powerpc for both Pike 7.2 and 7.4 packages.
