I've just gotten a Hilfe prompt from a Pike 7.4.44 source dist on my win2k workstation using MinGW32.
Since I lack a direct connection to internet at work, I will transfere all my work to my workstation at home tonight and start working out what patches that needs to be added to Mingw. As soon as that is done, I will start working on getting 7.7 to compile...
Looks like we might have the first 8.0 feature done very soon... ;)
Ah, great! I'm struggling with MinGW at home right now, got it running at work, but here, it complains about nonsense.. so my progress has been nil.

Our fileserver has been down the whole day due to Sasser, so I've had some time to fiddle... Guess viruses can be good sometimes... ;)

Ok, come abit further now (misplaced nt-tools/tools dir as /usr/local/bin... moved to last in path solved it, since the pike version of grep didn't work, no pike avail...;o)
I'm still stuck halfway through, so I'll await your results.. =)
Cheers, Andreas

nt-tools, but why? Those are for building the old fashioned way. I don't use anything but a standard Pike. I'm right now in the process of documenting all the steps needed to be taken to compile 7.4.44.
Stay tuned..

Ah, ok. Haven't looked too close at what is provided in that dir, only thought it might have something I need during compilation.

Excellent!

The biggest problem is that Pike uses old/undocumented APIs in windows. I need to fix this in Pike. Hopefully it won't take me too long, but don't hold your breath.
