Hello. Who maintains FreeBSD support for pike? I'm trying to get Caudium 1.4.x and 1.5.x working on FreeBSD 6.2 amd64 and was told the pike is not fully supported on FreeBSD. (Please correct me if I'm wrong here, my intention is not to offend anyone).
I'm willing to help out if need be on the development effort for fully supporting pike on FreeBSD.
For the pike program development I've been doing on FreeBSD I've not run into any issues yet though.
I'm using pike 7.6.86 for what I'm trying with Caudium.

I should have researched this issue more before posting on this subject in the way I did. After google-ing this issue a bit, I feel I should apologize, as there may be some tension concerning FreeBSD and Pike development. So please accept my apology. I will try to research more fully before posting questions of this nature here.
No, not at all. I wouldn't say tension. None of the core developers are using FreeBSD and so have had no knowledge, environment or real incentive to look into the problem, once it was determined to a reasonable degree that this was a problem with BSD that needs a workaround in Pike (or fix in BSD). We are happy to accept any new input, be it information or code, on the issue.
