Also, I'm not convinced that the "one HTML page" style is optimal for the documentation of this module... :-)
Yes... I'm also willing to consider other options for the display/formatting of documentation, but the requirement is that there be a way to achieve that dynamically (ie like using XSLT) from the extracted docs.

yup... i've got the same problem... 1.12 is newer than 1.8 :P
