Speaking of that, I should mention that it's not yet possible to link GMP on x86_64 for OS X 10.5 together with dynamic Pike modules since ld in 10.5 got rid of a crucial "-read_only_relocs warning" flag. My ugly fix in our compilations is to turn off dynamic modules entirely on that architecture but a more fine-granular on/off switch will probably have to be developed later.
