The most efficient way of fixing this would be to change the Mailman subscription page from it's default. There are way to many spammers that have automated mailman subscriptions. I have to many other things on my plate to look at it right now.

Correct; it's just not a very freshly updated SpamAssassin (so the scoring gets worse by the month). The kind gentlemen of the Lysator mail team dealing with this could use some man power to get up to speed again, but there are unfortunately few takers.
