My take on stuff like this is: Lets do it and if it becomes a problem, well lets deal with it then. It’s no harder than removing the functionality if it becomes a problem.

Will you tell contributors that their comments will be licensed in some way? That's something worth doing ahead of time. Everything else can be done later.
