Was having trouble building the latest, but a complete wipe-out (rm -rf *; git checkout -f) fixed that. Not sure what the issue was, doesn't much matter.
If I would have to guess it is the precompiler changes. The dependencies for the precompiler are not quite correct, changes to the precompiler will not cause re-generation of the .c-files.
