No. Either it should be included or it should not be included. If a security issue would arise with any of the libraries I'd like to be able to easilly know what packages that are voulnerable.
Yes - this is easilly found out on a unix system, but what about win*?

That would work, but it would be rather irritating for the one running configure. I really think that gmp and nettle should be included in the source distribution. Neither is all that large, and the system provided versions can be used if any are found.
