I was just looking around, and it appears that there are a few different RPMs floating around:

My sense is that if we can get the one from repoforge updated, that'd probably be the path of least resistance.
You should also consider including your spec file in the core distribution; see the packaging directory. If you do that, it's more likely to be kept up-to-date. Perhaps even would be good to have a look at it do make sure it's "feature complete" compared to the debian sources (which I think gets the most packaging attention).
