I very much want to know _why_ that happened if no other thread was reading from the same socket, or the socket was added twice to the poll-set for some reason.
But please please please please please don't enforce it for the people who have quite a valid use for blocking asynchronous sockets. If you do it would force me to require a specially patched pike to run AIDO.
