ah, ok, we'll have to live without history then. in that case it's easy as we just need to start a new branch.
if you put the archive somewhere to download, then i can take care of that.
is git installed on pelix? or is shell access available for pike-git.lysator.liu.se? (i don't want to drag the sources accross the globe if it can be done locally :-)
