So, are you volonteering to get hold of a simple recorder and do the recording? If not, your thoughs on how difficult or not it is aren't really helpful.

Of course, but it can't be that difficult te get hold of a simple recorder?!

I remember using just a small "pocketmemory", those with the micro tapes, to record the speaches at the Amiga Show in Cologne some years ago. The quality was good enough to then convert it to mp3 and have it on the AmigaInfo CD.

But of course if you can hook in the recorder to the PA system it would be much better.
