Commit logs are available via http from both pike.ida.liu.se and community.roxen.com. Unfortunately nobody has implemented smtp support into either system.
Maybe you can use http://sourceforge.net/projects/cvs-syncmail
Is anyone against using syncmail ?
It's really easy to install, the longer part being creating a pike-commits mailing list but only a root @ pike.ida.liu.se can install it. I'm personnaly very interested in receiving commit logs by email.
If you don't want to bother with setting up a mailing list I'm sure we can setup one @caudium.net.
