Yes, that is exactly what I did. The strange thing is that everything seems to be OK if you look at the data using Pike. Only if I use ldapsearch to query the server do I notice the error.

No I never had a similar problem with Protocols.LDAP module. It's very strange. Do you tried to do it by hand from hilfe?
