Do you have access to an Alpha? I'd be interested to see how well it works with a 64-bit INT_TYPE after yesterdays bugfixes.
To make sure you got 64 bit INT_TYPE, check the config.info output:
int type............ long long (8 bytes) ^^^^^^^
