Source packages made by pikefarm are _more_ likely to contain bugs than if you make a CVS snapshot at a random time. This is because they are made (almost) immediately when someone checks in new functionality which might break on some platform. Even if the bug is quickly found and corrected, there will be some time before a new build is made.
