I'll try to be there too. Maybe I'll volunteer to give a small talk on Pike for biological sequence analysis, it might be that I have submitted a paper on a pike application for that purpose.

Martin's got a potentially very cool venue for us, as well as a software project that's looking to convert to pike, along with the potential for some local pike users to show up.
I know that there was some question about whether or not a conference is even necessary, but we (martin and I) think a conference is good for keeping people excited about pike, and it lets us all show off our hard work from the past year. It's also a great opportunity to meet new people, and to meet some of us in person.
As always, your thoughts and feedback are most welcome.
Best regards,
Bill

I haven't heard any feedback on the proposal I made earlier this week about having a Pike conference in October. I'm hoping that's just because so many people are on holiday. Does anyone out there have an opinion one way or the other? It doesn't have to be "official"... we're just looking for feedback.
