Pike looks for the includes where it installs them. If Debian wants them installed somewhere else, it's their job to make sure Pike looks there instead. Pike can't be clairvoyant about these things.

if these are c includefiles then debian policy requires them to be there. the scripts need to be fixed to look there as well. after all /usr/include/ IS a standard place for include files, so pike scripts should look there as well.
