Entirely possible. I've deleted the branch for this feature, since it's not needed (although at some point, I might make a pure-Pike helper function that does the proper verification; my app currently short-cuts things a bit, since it never needs more than one socket), and made a small docs tweak to link "stdin" mode with listen_fd.
