Ok, I have a fairly good source dist at http://pike.ida.liu.se/pub/pike/beta/7.6.20/Pike-v7.6.20.tar.gz but it looks to me as if pike bundles are broken, at least when using --site-prefixes. Can someone without gmp or nettle see if it works?

Reminder: Pike Camp and Conference October 13-19

Just a reminder that there are just 3 weeks to go before this year's Pike Camp and Conference. This year's event will be held from October 13 through 19 in Essen, Germany. You can register online now at the camp website: http://camp.gotpike.org Some important points about the event: No cost dormitory style housing is available for the duration of the camp and conference, and we'll have a quiet work room available for anyone who needs to spend time away from the conference doing work. For those living in Europe, Ryanair has some extremely good airfares to the Niederrhein D|sseldorf airport near Essen. Conference sessions will be held in English. All levels of pike experience are welcome, from core developers to those with only minimal end user experience with Pike (or Caudium, Roxen, sTeam, or psyc|muve). There will be beginner's tutorials as well as more advanced workshops. If you have a burning pike question or problem, here's your chance to have it answered by experts. If you can't make it for all of the conference, please do join us for the time you are available. I only did that after having pointed to the wrong dist dir once. order of elements after: a^b

hi, when i combine two arrays using exclusive or (^) the order of the resulting elements appears to be like (a+b)-(elements from both): a = ({ 1, 7, 2, 8, 4 }); b = ({ 2, 1, 3, 0, 5 }); a^b is ({ 7, 8, 4, 3, 0, 5 }) however if there are doubles a = ({ 1, 7, 2, 5, 4 }); b = ({ 2, 1, 3, 5, 5 }); a^b is ({ 7, 4, 3, 5 }) b^a is ({ 3, 5, 7, 4 }) one of them remains. what's the strategy here? it looks like from both arrays it removes always the same number of elements. greetings, martin.

nettle in 7.6 source distribution

hi, it appears that the official 7.6.6 source distribution does not really contain nettle. wouldn't it be time for a new release with this stuff fixed, would be nice together with the upcoming windows binaries. greetings, martin.

wouldn't it be nice to have links for the latest source packages exportet by pikefarm at the website. i can only find http://pike.ida.liu.se/generated/pikefarm/packages/7.7/latest at the download page and currently i always change the url manually to download the latest code for 7.4, 7.6 etc. (or did i miss a different download place?) /m

hi, does the translation of character litarals such as: 'b' or 'ö' depend on the character set i am using or will it always be the unicode value? how is the characterset determined? greetings, martin.

I think you can also use UTF-16 without explicitly declaring it, if the file starts with a BOM.
