Hi, Looks like there is a problem with Pike's configure and Java. Broken ADT.Priority_queue?

I just tried to use ADT.Priority_queue like this: object q = ADT.Priority_queue(); q->push(1,1); q->pop(); and this code hangs my computer almost completely using Pike 7.7 from CVS. Can someone reproduce the problem or tell me if I'm doing something wrong in my code?

How interesting is this? Should I persue it further? (Pike 7.7 from CVS tuesday.) Remote bug

Hi guys, Found a bug in Remote module. When calling Client->provide(), the argument order is swapped so the name and object gets mixed up. Easy fix: Change context.pike:242 from: void add(object o, string id) to: void add(string id, object o) Oh, just checked recent sources (7.7 tree) vs. my version (7.4.44) to see if it's been fixed and found that the code has been moved around so the context class now lies in module.pike, but *the bug is still present*. Stdio.File sockets not getting closed in 7.6

I've been battling a problem with 7.6 recently that I hadn't had in the 7.5 versions I'd previously been running. My code creates, over time, a large number of short lived Protocol.LDAP.client objects. The problem that I'm having is that even if I explicitly destruct these objects, I end up with a large number of sockets that are in CLOSE_WAIT state. Eventually, this number of sockets increases to the point where I run out of FDs. The only way to clear the sockets completely is to call gc(), which I've resorted to every 5 minutes through a call out to solve the problem. To me, this sounds like a problem. Anyone else have any thoughts? Bill

Bug in Protocols.HTTP.Session

Hi, While developping a non blocking HTTP client for Protocols.XMLRPC I went throught a problem with Protocols.HTTP.Session (with Pike 7.6). Data types in foreach

Hi there, Just found that following construct: mapping m = ([ "key": "value" ]); array a = ({ m }); foreach (a; ; int v) // Note the type of v write("%O", v); ...does work (7.6.6) - it prints mapping, while typeof(v) is int (_typeof(v) is mapping, however). Actually, it doesn't matter which type is used to declare v - it will work anyway - both for indexes and values: foreach (anyvalue; int k; int v) // This will always work, regardless write("%O=%O\n", k, v); // of type of anyvalue and it's elements Seems to be a bug or? Hello there, I am working on making some SPF/SRS compliant LMTP/SMTP forwarder. I am asking that callbacks (cb_mailfrom / cb_rcptto / cb_data) to return int|array instead of int. Why ? Because some special application can return a message different that "only" "250 Requested mail action okay, completed".
