ADT.Set

For the sake of completeness, I've added an ADT.Set to 7.7. It is, of course, less efficient than just using a mapping (or a multiset), but it might make the code slightly more readable, and supports some more stuff than ordinary mappings, such as x <= y to check if x is a subset of y.

They already know about this; About the name "Pike" It's the codename of a product in beta. When it's finalized we'll give it a different name. We're aware that there's a scripting language named Pike. We weren't aware of it when we chose the name. Thanks for all the respectful mail I've gotten on this. No flames, or threats, just "Are you aware?" type questions. hi, i just came accross this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pike_(cipher) there is aparently a cipher called Pike. shouldn't nettle implement that one? greetings, martin.

Pike Mailing List archives

I've set up a web app that allows you to search the Pike mailing list archives back as far as 1996. Hopefully, that's as far back as anyone wants to go. I'm just finishing up the load, so within the next few hours, it will be up to date, and new posts are autmatically added. http://www.gotpike.org/ (click on pike mailing list archives) the interface is currently rather spare, but it's functional for what 90% of people need it for. Please feel free to beat on it and let me know what you think. Bill

hi, this is a reminder of the things you should bring next week: must haves: bedsheets or sleepingbag, mat for the floor. towel, soap (no room service) apropriate clothing for fall weather. usefull: laptop, patchcable, wavelancard, power extension cord or powerplug adapter if your power system is different from the european standard. hub or switch if you have a pocket sized one that you can spare. a recipie for dinner, and any special ingredients that might not be available in germany. Bug in replace

Hi, Replace doesn't seem to like \. : string s = Pike v7.6 release 13 running Hilfe v3.5 (Incremental Pike Frontend) > string s = "foo.bar.com"; > replace(s, ".", "\."); (1) Result: "foo.bar.com" > replace(s, "a", "\."); (2) Result: "foo.b.r.com" > replace(s, "a", "\b"); (3) Result: "foo.b\br.com" It does the same with 7.2, 7.4 / David

Recently, when I exit hilfe with ^C, it doesn't reset the terminal correctly. Is this a recent change in hilfe, or is it my system? If I exit with ^D, it resets the terminal, so I suspect Pike.
