This is due to that you have (presumably) a player with a name including a character not in the standard iso8859-1 character set. It shouldn't cause an error though, but in the future it will just be a garbled character.
It would be good to convert everything so that the whole program is in utf8 instead, but wxPython isn't good at handling that yet, unfortunately.
